Project Africa Global, Inc.
Project Africa Global was initially formed as a program under the umbrella of the Economic Development Fund Foundation , a Los Angeles based, non-profit 501(c) 3 organization founded in 1997 and incorporated in 1998. Over the past 10 years Project Africa Global (PAG) has supported the foundation's projects in Ghana, West Africa, Nigeria, Liberia and Swaziland. As of 2005, Project Africa Global has its own   501 (c) 3 non-profit status  and is recognized as a charitible organization in the State of California. PAG has and continues to  provided direct medical and educational humanitarian aid to refugees, men, women and children in developing countries and the United States. We have developed and implemented community service/internship programs for high school, college, graduate and post-graduate programs as well as medical students and physicians in training. These experiences not only fulfill academic requirements for the participants but also inable these volunteers to gain invaluable and life altering experiences which significantly impact their lives and career choices.

Vision Statement
Project Africa Global, Inc. works in partnership with local and international communities to achieve healthy and productive societies. PAG reaches out to the most vulnerable and marginalized populations, in concert with local partners around the globe to build long term solutions addressing urgent health issues with a particular focus on: AfricAmerica Youth Summit of US trained and African HIV/AIDS Peer Educators, Orphans and Vulnerable Children, Women’s Health, In-Country Continuing Medical and Nursing Education Conferences,   World AIDS Day,  High School Youth Delegates for  Global Citizenship, consultation and partnerships with non profit organzations throughout the world.  Our approach places communities, youth, and health education at the center of our activities.  We believe that only through the  development of strong healthy global communities socio- economic well being can be achieved.
